Donated in 1975 by the artist, Phillippe Rheaume, it
replaced the Ladies Presidents Trophy in 1975. It was
contested betwen the Day and Business Ladies division.
In 1986-87, the trophy was awarded to both the Day Ladies
and the Business Ladies (the trophy featured separate
plaques to recognize both winners). It is currently
only awarded for Day Ladies competition.
